Cookie Policy

How slideforge.cloud uses cookies and similar technologies: no cookies, anonymous visit statistics you can switch off, and more only if you accept.

Last updated September 29, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Commercium Limited ('Company', 'we', 'us', and 'our') uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at https://slideforge.cloud ('Website').

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Website owners use them to make their sites work, to remember preferences, and to measure how the site is used. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called 'first-party cookies'; cookies set by anyone else through that site are 'third-party cookies'.

What this website sets

slideforge.cloud sets no cookies. It stores a few small items in your browser's storage, which the law treats like cookies. The banner on your first visit offers three choices, and you can change your mind at any time with Analytics choice at the bottom of every page.

Basic only (also what happens until you choose). We count visits so we can improve the site: the pages viewed, the site you came from (its domain only), a few actions such as a search in the help centre (the length of the search, never its text), films played, links to the App Store followed, whether the contact form was sent, and page errors. UK law allows statistics like these without asking first, as long as we tell you and you can switch them off. Nothing identifies you and nothing is used for advertising. The statistics go to Amplitude, Inc., which processes them only for us.

Accept. In addition, a random identifier lets us tell a return visit from a new one.

Decline. Nothing is stored or sent, including the basic statistics. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser counts as a Decline.

Name Purpose When Lifetime
cm.visit Groups the pages of one visit in this tab Basic statistics and Accept Until you close the tab
cm.consent Remembers your choice so the banner does not return After any choice Until you clear it
cm.device A random identifier that lets us count return visits without knowing who you are After Accept only Until you choose Basic only or Decline, or clear it
cm.session Groups the pages of one visit across tabs (30 minutes without activity ends it) After Accept only Until you choose Basic only or Decline, or clear it

There are no advertising cookies and no third-party cookies. Every page works the same whatever you choose.

What about the app?

Cookies are a browser technology, so this policy is about the website only. What the SlideForge app collects and processes, including the content you submit to generate decks and anonymous usage analytics, is described in the Privacy Policy.

If this ever changes

If we add anything else that stores information in your browser, this policy will be updated with a new date and the item will be listed here by name, purpose and lifetime before it is used.

How can I control cookies in my browser?

You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies at any time. The way to do this varies from browser to browser, so check your browser's help pages. Refusing cookies will not affect anything on this site.
