Legal
Privacy, terms and cookies for SlideForge: every policy governing the app and this website, in one place, with a plain-English summary of what each one says.

The short version
Legal pages are usually written so that nobody reads them. This one is a summary of the three documents that actually govern your use of SlideForge, written so that you can decide whether you need to read the full text.
The summary is not the agreement. Where this page and a full policy differ, the full policy is the one that binds both of us.
Where your content goes
SlideForge has no sign-up and no login, but it is not an offline app. When you generate a deck, the material you provide, the topic you type, the notes you paste, the documents you upload and the web links you submit, is sent to our servers and to the AI providers we work with, because that is how the slides get built. This is covered in detail in the Privacy Policy.
The decks you keep live in the app on your device. If you share a deck with a QuickLink, a copy is stored so that the link works, and anyone who has the link can open it. Treat a QuickLink the way you would treat any link you send.
What we do not promise
SlideForge generates slides with artificial intelligence. AI output can be wrong: a date, a figure, a name, a confident-sounding claim. The deck is a draft that arrives well dressed. Check the facts before you stand up and present them, especially in academic, professional or financial settings.
Nothing the app produces is legal, financial, medical or other professional advice, and we make no promise that a deck will win the pitch, pass the course or close the deal. That part is still yours.
Subscriptions
SlideForge is free to download and try. Advanced features use an optional auto-renewing subscription. The current prices are always shown in the app before you buy, and the charge goes through your App Store account.
Purchases are made through the App Store, which means Apple holds the subscription, not us. We cannot cancel it for you, we cannot see your payment details, and refunds are Apple's decision rather than ours. Cancel from Settings on your device, and cancel before you delete the app, because deleting the app does not stop the renewal.
What you may not do
Use the app or this website for anything unlawful, generate decks whose content infringes other people's rights or is designed to deceive, attempt to break, probe or reverse engineer the app, resell access, or scrape this website. The name SlideForge, the wordmark, the writing on this site and the design of the app belong to Commercium Limited and are not yours to reuse commercially without permission.
You need to be 18 or over to agree to the Terms. Under that, a parent or guardian has to agree on your behalf.
The limits of our liability
The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose you have in mind for it.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or opportunities, or for any decision you or your audience take on the strength of a generated slide. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything on this page.
Which law applies
These agreements are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If it ever came to a dispute, both sides submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England, or of the EU country you live in.
The full documents
Everything summarised above is set out properly in these three. They are the versions that count.
Privacy Policy
What is collected, what happens to the content you submit for generation, who processes it on our behalf, how long anything is kept, and the rights you have over it under UK GDPR.
Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Commercium Limited: eligibility, acceptable use, subscriptions and renewals, intellectual property, AI-generated content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution and governing law.
Cookie Policy
What this website sets in your browser. At the moment, the honest answer is nothing, and the policy says exactly that.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes the decks and settings stored on your phone. For anything that touched our servers, the content you sent for generation or shared as a QuickLink, you can exercise your data rights, ask what we hold, or request deletion by writing to support@slideforge.cloud. The Privacy Policy sets out the full list of rights and how we handle requests.

Changes
We update these documents when the product changes or the law does. Material changes will be flagged in the app or on this site rather than made quietly, and each document carries its own effective date.
