PDF or PowerPoint: which to choose

Choose PDF to send or print a deck that looks exactly like your slides. Choose PowerPoint to keep editing in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides.

  1. PDF: each page is a picture of the slide as the app draws it, at 16:9. It looks the same on every device, but the text cannot be edited or selected in the PDF.

  2. PowerPoint (.pptx): text boxes, shapes and photos are placed the way the app lays them out, so the words stay editable. Speaker notes come along.

  3. Need both? Export twice: the deck in the app does not change.

PowerPoint files are built on our server from the finished slide layout, so PowerPoint export needs a connection. PDFs are made on the device.
