A document or deck will not import

Documents must be PDF, Word, PowerPoint or text and at most 8 MB. Decks to import must be PowerPoint or PDF and at most 30 MB.

  1. Check the type: From a file takes PDF, .docx, .pptx and .txt. Import and restyle takes .pptx and PDF.

  2. Check the size: 8 MB for documents, 30 MB for decks. Larger files are not accepted.

  3. For Keynote, Canva and Google Slides, export to PowerPoint first.

  4. For a Google Slides link, the deck must be shared as “Anyone with the link”.

  5. If the app says We could not read that, check the connection and try again.

To make a big deck smaller, compress its images in PowerPoint or Keynote before exporting, or remove video.
