Edit the text on a slide

Tap any text on the slide. A text box opens under it, and the slide updates as you type. Tap Done when you are finished.

  1. Open the deck and tap the words you want to change: a title, a point, a number or a quote.

  2. Type in the box below the slide. Lists take one point per line; columns take one per line as “Heading: text”.

  3. Tap Done. To take a change back, tap Undo.

Good to know

  • The layout adjusts as the text grows or shrinks, so the slide stays laid out.
  • To rewrite a slide rather than edit it, use the AI tools.
  • To rename the deck, tap its name at the top of the editor.
  • On a free account you can edit the free deck. Editing other decks needs VIP.
